Some salons and spas are focusing gift-card promotions on men, and there's still time this week to connect a campaign to Valentine's Day, experts say. Some 45% of spas offer specials aimed at the male market, according to the International SPA Association's 2011 U.S. Industry Study. And relaxation may be a key marketing message: The study showed the top reason men go to a spa is to relieve stress.
