Revisions to a forthcoming cybersecurity bill address many concerns raised by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, according to a letter to the group from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Further amendments are possible, he said. "You are absolutely right that a regulatory framework creating bureaucratic redundancy, over-intrusive requirements, and unmanageable costs is counterproductive and contradictory to the spirit of public-private partnership that must drive our nation's cybersecurity efforts," Reid wrote.
