Small businesses shouldn't abandon their e-mail marketing in favor of social media, but instead should seek to integrate the two, writes Liana Evans. E-mail recipients can use social media sharing buttons to respond to content, setting up a supportive -- rather than competitive -- relationship between the two methods. "Integrating your email marketing strategies with other channels can be done rather easily; it just takes a bit of planning," Evans writes.
