Hispanic consumers are looking for the same quality and value as anyone else when they dine out, but there are some differences, says ad exec Ingrid Otero-Smart, who is working with Denny's to increase its appeal to Latinos. Restaurants stand a better chance of appealing to Hispanic guests when they offer bilingual signage, are active in the community and create ad campaigns that reflect the Latino community, she says.
