Facebook says 8 million brands have made the transition to its revamped pages, a sign that the social network's plan to attract businesses is paying off. Dr Pepper Snapple Group is among the brands that have tested Facebook's paid-ad model, finding that 83% of Dr. Pepper's 11 million fans saw the ad over a 28-day period. Einstein Bros. Bagels successfully floated a coupon.
