Gas prices have risen substantially since the start of the year and they're slated to go higher still, posing a challenge for fledgling food truck operators. Tampa food truck owners Margaret and Ray Lofkin have added 50 cents to drink prices to avoid charging more for food, and Mr. Empanada owner Enrico Mastrangelo says he has cut back from six days a week to three or four and gotten pickier about the events he works.
