Business credit cards provide a financing option for company owners who are unable to get other forms of credit, but they aren't covered by protections included in credit card legislation that was passed a few years ago. "All these practices that were recognized as deceptive and unfair by the [Federal Reserve] ... are still being perpetrated against small-business owners because their business credit cards aren't protected," said Todd McCracken of the National Small Business Association.
