Nielsen is poised to launch "cross-platform campaign ratings" -- a system that will offer standardized ratings for both broadcast and online advertising. The ratings tool will initially be used by GroupM, but will be available from launch to other advertising buyers. "This measure will show you the reach of your campaign on TV, the reach of your campaign online, and will show you the overlap between the two," said Steve Hasker, Nielsen's president for media products and advertiser solutions.
