The Senate will vote today on two measures involving TransCanada's federal permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. An amendment by Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., would overturn President Barack Obama's rejection of the permit and clear the project using Congress' authority. Also, Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., has submitted an amendment that would accelerate the review process for a new Keystone XL application without bypassing any key environmental studies.
