Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., and Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., are calling for the Justice Department to investigate the practice of some employers that ask job candidates for their Facebook login information. The senators, who also want the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to look into the issue, want to find out whether asking for the login credentials runs afoul of a federal anti-hacking law.
