A British Science Association survey showed that the percentage of people in the U.K. who are not concerned about biotech food increased from 17% in 2003 to 25% this year, while those very concerned fell from 23.8% to 17.2%. Results of the poll suggests that people in the U.K. are "interested in the end uses and real benefits" of biotech food, said Rothamsted Research Institute Chief Executive Maurice Moloney.
