Shares of Suzlon Energy advanced by as much as 7.1% on news that the company sold five Brazilian wind farms to a group of investors for about $300 million. The five wind farms, totaling 136.5 megawatts, were bought by an investment fund managed by Banco do Brasil, Banco Votorantim and a division of Oleoplan Group, according to a newspaper report.
