The Digital Advertising Alliance is concerned that the government is on the wrong track and even "fear mongering" by including the phrase "data broker" in a recent Federal Trade Commission report. Attorney Stu Ingis, whose firm represents the DAA, said, "Data is the engine of the economy; it's not a secret the online world is replicating [in] the offline data world."
