Implementing electronic health records can be costly for hospitals, even with the possibility of securing government funding, so those institutions are turning to cloud computing as a way to bring in EHRs as part of their IT infrastructure. Hewlett-Packard and distributor Ingram Micro are joining forces to offer HP tablet computers and workstations, together with cloud services managed by Ingram, to bring about EHRs in the cloud.
