Eighth-grade teachers at a North Carolina school have seized upon the popularity of "The Hunger Games" trilogy by including themes from the young-adult novel across the curriculum. Students also went on a field trip to see the movie and participated in their school's own version of "The Hunger Games." "We're trying to get away from 'sit down, take notes, take a test, be bored,' " said Jason Hunsinger, a language arts and math teacher.
