A Pennsylvania state judge has barred the oil and natural gas industry from intervening in a case about whether the state's oil and gas law is constitutional. Five Pittsburgh-area towns are challenging the law, which supersedes individual towns' zoning decisions. Energy companies will be sufficiently covered by the state attorney general's defense of the law, said Commonwealth Court Judge Keith Quigley.
