"The cost to workplace privacy would be serious. ... Volatility in the capital markets has pressured Hospitality Properties Trust to temporarily suspend calls for offers on 21 Marriott hotels that it put up for sale. The real-estate investment trust put the portfolio on the market as part of a contract agreement with Marriott International and InterContinental Hotels. The move has pushed back a possible closing date for the portfolio to the first half of 2012.
