Officials at some schools in Calgary, Alberta, say the city's school-nutrition policy conflicts with their culinary arts programs. In some cases, the food prepared by students is sold and served in school cafeterias. However, the sale of some of those creations -- such as baked goods and sweets -- are in violation of the nutrition policy, according to Alberta Health Services.
