Archaeologists discovered ancient Thracian golden artifacts at a tomb in Bulgaria dated to the start of the third century B.C. or the end of the fourth century B.C. The artifacts included 100 golden buttons, 44 applications of female figurines, a tiara with animal motifs and bracelets. "From what we see up to now, the tomb may be linked with the first known Getic ruler Cothelas," said Diana Gergova, head of the team working at the ancient Getic burial complex near Sveshtari, northeast of Sofia.
