House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton, R-Mich., and other Republican members told the FDA in a letter Monday that the agency has until Nov. 30 to submit documents connected to the New England Compounding Center and the meningitis outbreak linked to it. "We need these documents to identify any possible weaknesses in FDA's regulatory system that can be immediately corrected administratively or legislatively," according to the letter.
