Twenty-five years ago, a West German teenager fed up with the Cold War flew a single-engine Cessna into the Soviet Union and landed in Red Square. Mathias Rust was arrested and sentenced to four years in prison. "I came to the conclusion that I needed to do something that puts an end to this dead end situation," Rust said in and interview with the BBC. "I thought I could use this plane to build an imaginary bridge between West and East."
