In Montgomery County, Md., teachers implementing the school district's new Curriculum 2.0 math program will receive more training and support in the new year, district officials say. Officials also are pledging to share with school board members and parents details on how students who are gifted fit into the new curriculum. "We will be bringing groups of teachers together and sharing curriculum, talking about instruction and sharing best practices," said Erick Lang, associate superintendent of curriculum and instruction for Montgomery County Public Schools.
