Wal-Mart and Conde Naste are collaborating on a custom publishing series called BeautyScoop, distributing a half million magazine-style catalogs in stores and 2.5 million to customers' homes. The MediaVest-brokered deal is intended to give Wal-Mart fashion the "editorial halo" of Conde Nast, without mentioning the publisher.
