Samsung Electronics escalated its patent fee fight with Sweden's Ericsson, saying today that it has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission aimed at obtaining a ban on the telecom gear maker's imports. The legal maneuver followed a similar move last month by Ericsson as well as an earlier suit Ericsson brought against Samsung in federal court over terms of a licensing deal. Samsung charged that Ericsson has violated seven or more of its wireless patents.
