Classes with a 5-to-1 student-teacher ratio and individualized learning were among the accommodations that helped one student with multiple learning disabilities stay on track to graduate from Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, N.C., teachers and parents say. "Holly's reading level was very low," said Becky Owens, director of Wesleyan's Enrichment Center. "She was a little resistant to teaching, because in a small student environment, you can't get by with anything."
