The demand for landscape architects is beginning to recover in Oregon, according to a third-quarter survey by the American Society of Landscape Architects. About 26% of the respondents said their billable hours were "significantly higher" compared with the same period last year. Separately, the production value of nurseries in the state grew to $742 million in 2011, up from $667 million in 2010.
