Propane retailers across the U.S. say their businesses are not better off than they were four years ago, according to LP Gas Magazine's State of the Industry survey. However, propane marketers see a huge opportunity in the construction industry by partnering with homebuilders and remodelers, especially as natural gas poses as a threat to propane. Retailers are also optimistic that propane autogas can help the industry grow gallons through vehicle conversions, the survey finds.
