California's three investor-owned utilities hold 194 renewable power purchase agreements worth a combined total of 16,012 megawatts, according to data compiled by Platts. Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric have 96 PPAs for renewable energy facilities currently online with a total capacity of 5,893 MW, the data showed. The remaining 98 PPAs are for projects due for completion between now and the end of 2015, the data showed.
