Omnicom's PHD has been named global media agency of the year by Adweek. The shop won 90% of Unilever's global communications planning and created a Web-hosted collaborative planning system for employees, among other recent achievements. The agency was particularly successful in winning new business on the global stage, even in struggling Europe, where it picked up Sony mobile and Bentley and grew revenue 33%, writes Noreen O'Leary.
