The Quadrantid meteor shower will peak this week, giving stargazers an opportunity to watch the sky light up for the first time in 2013. While this year's show is not expected to be as bright as last year's, stargazers could expect to see up to 40 meteors per hour, according to a statement by officials monitoring the Hubble Space Telescope.
