Ticket sales by travel agents during the first 11 months of 2012 reached a total of $79.8 billion, compared with $77.2 billion during the same period in 2011, Airlines Reporting Corp. reports. The consolidated dollar value of tickets sold by agents rose 3.35% year-over-year from figures in 2011. "The number of transactions for international flights shows a bit of a stronger performance year-over-year in comparison to U.S. domestic travel," said Chuck Thackston of ARC.
