Officials in a Michigan school district are considering using a portion of a $10.09 million bond -- to be spent over 10 years on school-technology upgrades -- to expand an iPad pilot program. Currently, two classes of elementary-school students are using the iPads through the pilot program, and the proposal calls for the addition of three more classrooms. Also on the table is the purchase of 112 technology carts.
