The California Energy Commission awarded $1.35 million to Pearson Fuels to install E85 dispensers at 19 filling stations across the state. The funding is part of $3.27 million set aside by the CEC for projects aimed at lessening tailpipe emissions. With about 55,000 new flex-fuel vehicles hitting the streets annually in California, the state is likely to become the biggest market for E85 in the nation, the CEC said.
