Verizon Communications demonstrated updates for its FiOS TV service and the new Redbox Instant by Verizon video-streaming service at the 2013 International CES. The new capabilities are aimed at serving what the company calls the "borderless consumer" who wants to watch video on any platform at any time. These consumers constitute about 39% of U.S. adults, according to a survey by Harris Interactive and Verizon.
