Clothing factories finally are moving toward more high-tech sewing machines, such as new computerized machines from Sunstar Machinery in Seoul that track every piece and standardize patterns and operations across a group of workers. The technology gives retailers a clearer picture of where their orders are in the process and how soon they'll arrive, key information in the fast-fashion age, said Sunstar chairman Park In-chul.
