Sprouts Farmers Market says a point-of-sale malware attack might have compromised customers' credit card information at 19 stores in Arizona and California. The attack happened between Jan. 25 and 29. The company says it "was able to quickly identify and replace the affected credit card terminals."
Meijer is selling local tomatoes year-round, grown in a Coldwater, Mich., hydroponic greenhouse of Mastronardi Produce. "This is really unique and exciting because Meijer customers can purchase locally grown tomatoes in the winter, which is well beyond Michigan's traditional tomato-growing season," said Jerry Suter, Meijer's vice president of fresh food.

A Tennessee Senate committee is taking up the question of whether grocers should be allowed to sell wine. If the measure is approved, voters in individual jurisdictions will decide whether they want such sales.
Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney, who famously was "not impressed" in a photograph that went viral, is starring in an ad campaign for Dr Pepper Snapple Group's Ten line of soda. Maroney will participate in a promotional event at New York's Penn Station, renamed Ten Station for the day, to launch 7UP, A&W, Canada Dry, RC Cola and Sunkist drinks for the 10-calorie line.
