Ready-to-drink teas are growing globally at twice the speed of other categories, with no sign of slowdown, said Luis Fernando Ramirez, creative and marketing director at Beverage Partners Worldwide, the joint venture between Coca-Cola and Nestle. While people in mature markets drink up to 24 liters of the drink a year, consumption in growing markets is still around 3 liters a year, he said.
