Redpine Signals has introduced a chip that supports machine-to-machine applications, the so-called "Internet of Things," the company said. Redpine said its self-contained RS9113 M2MCombo chip will unite dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi, dual-mode Bluetooth 4.0 and ZigBee wireless connectivity, which will purportedly prevent the different technologies from interfering with one another.
