A recent article about school lunches in Japan shows that students there are getting an education in more than nutrition, suggests Charity Curley Mathews, founder of Foodlets.com. In this blog post, she writes that, because students in Japan are prohibited from bringing food from home, they all eat the same thing -- giving them more time to focus on sharing a meal with one another. Students also take turns serving each other, providing another important lesson, she writes.
