Exelon underreported the money required for decommissioning its nuclear plants for four years, according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The company faces "escalated enforcement action" for the errors, NRC spokesman Scott Burnell said. "We are not aware of any evidence supporting a conclusion that Exelon employees performed or condoned deliberate misconduct or intentionally violated regulatory requirements," said David Tillman, a spokesman for Exelon's power-generation unit.
