Ingram Micro says it will no longer be a distributor of EMC storage solutions, but that it will maintain its business with EMC's VMware and RSA. Dell, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Nimble and Nutanix will continue to provide storage options from EMC's portfolio.
SAP says it has agreed to buy SmartOps, a supplier of supply-chain software, and will incorporate its applications with SAP's HANA technology. Separately, SAP has made a deal with Ericsson for joint sales of cloud-based machine-to-machine communication services.

The team will focus on developing integrated products, services and best practices through the combining of Cisco's network-security technology with EMC's data-security tools under its RSA division, executives said.
