Students from four New Orleans-area universities helped some of the city's small businesses develop an online presence prior to the influx of tourists for Sunday's Super Bowl. The student service project was initiated by Jennifer Holland, a global sales communications specialist at Google who said the program is a pilot that could be extended and widened. The students reached 113 companies, teaching business owners about Google Maps, Google+Local and Google+Business, as well as online advertising.
