Work on a $1 billion-plus coal-to-gas conversion plant in Wyoming was supposed to start early this year, but that won't happen. The project's Chinese construction contractor, Sinopec Engineering Group, recently informed DKRW Advanced Fuels that its availability to build the plant will be "later than anticipated," according to DKRW attorney Mary Throne. The project would create more than 2,000 construction jobs over 40 months.
