ABV credential is admitting auditors who measure fair value

The AICPA's FVS Section has revised the Experience Requirement section of the Accredited in Business Valuation credential application kit, which allows the admittance of auditors of fair value for financial reporting. To qualify, the auditor must perform tasks consisting of recalculation of discount and capitalization rates and verifying models on calculation of value using professional judgment. Become an ABV by combining education and experience in this area and sitting for the spring ABV exam. Registration is open until June 1.
