Developers and gaming publishers remain split on whether Android is a good platform for gaming, but even those who dislike the operating system say they have to deal with the reality of Android's marketplace dominance. PlayJam founder Jasper Smith said only about one-quarter of developers would rather write for Android, a figure he predicts will more than double in the years to come, but other developers disagree. "We have to do it; it's pretty dominant. But it's not good for graphics at all. Google just doesn't put enough love into it," said Chris Doran, the founder of Geomerics, a firm that aids developers.
