Randy Tinseth, Boeing's vice president of marketing, says he's sure that the company's proposed fix to the 787's battery issue is a "permanent" solution.  "It is a solution that we believe provides three levels of protection for the airplane and it's a solution that we're confident will ensure safe and reliable service for the 787 in the future,"  said Tinseth. Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled a forum and hearing on the troublesome battery issue for April.
