ExxonMobil will increase the capacity of its petrochemical complex in Baytown, Texas, in a multibillion-dollar project that is projected to create 10,000 construction jobs and 350 permanent positions. The project "builds on our strengths as an integrated petrochemical company and will take advantage of all the shale gas that is coming on," said ExxonMobil Chemical President Steve Pryor.
