Facebook announced Thursday that its News Feed feature will boast larger photos and other images posted by users. The change is expected to make the page more attractive to advertisers and marketers. The social network also provided an update to software developers, advising them that applications will need to support images of at least 600 by 600 pixels. Stipple CEO Rey Flemings said, "There could be a short-term increase in engagement for all posts," adding, "but it doesn't address the fundamental problem that ads will still be seen as interrupting the News Feed."
