Air traffic controllers at several airports in south Florida could lose their jobs in April due to automatic federal budget cuts. "They're not thinking of the safety of the aircraft. Or how it's going to affect the rest of the city itself," said Ron Wooldridge, a controller at Boca Raton Airport. A spokesman for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department said tower closures could have an impact on nearby businesses as well.
