Fonterra plans to invest $82.4 million in a facility in New Zealand that will process ultra-high temperature milk, a product in demand in Asia. "Products from the new plant will be bound for Asia markets and that will allow us to concentrate all our domestic UHT production -- including Fonterra Milk for Schools -- at Takanini in Auckland," Fonterra CEO Theo Spierings said.
